These are miles better - thick yet soft leather which doesn't go hard when it gets wet - no lumps or bumps anywhere. The suede sole gives a great grip when he pulls himself up to standing, and now that he is getting confident cruising around the furniture they are wonderful. I was a little worried that the mint green would clash with some of his clothes - but they actually look great with everything..
